Our Mission

Friends of Parkside fosters unity, empowerment, and opportunity for Parkside residents. We support youth development, provide educational and employment resources, and promote health and well-being. As an active member of the community, we bridge connections between Parkside and the broader east side, ensuring residents have a voice and the power to create lasting, positive change.

Our Vision

  • A healthy, safe, and drug-free Parkside, prioritizing pregnant women, mothers, seniors, infants, and youth.

  • An informed, united community dedicated to tackling issues that impact quality of life.

  • Access to meaningful employment, business opportunities, and personal growth.

  • Families and individuals actively committed to strengthening the community.

Hear From Our Community

Zachary Rowe, Executive Director

“Friends of Parkside is more than just an organization—it’s a family. It’s a space where neighbors come together to support one another, where voices are heard, and where we work every day to create opportunities and build a stronger community. Seeing the impact we have on residents’ lives is what makes this work so meaningful to me.”
